Today it stands painstakingly restored to follow exactly the inspirational designs of the first Marquis Scicluna, the island’s foremost philanthropist, who turned the palazzo into a beautiful country home for a noble family at the height of the Victorian era.

The interiors are rich with fine frescoes, magnificent marble, mirrored walls, trompes de l’oeil, rare paintings and extravagant gilding. The internationally recognized landscaped gardens, which are acclaimed as being among the finest in Europe, further reflect the splendour of this gracious home.

Palazzo Parisio makes a unique venue for corporate hospitality at the highest level.  In the evenings and at weekends the entire Palace, together with its glorious and extensive gardens, becomes available on an exclusive basis for all sorts of entertaining and business events – receptions, conferences, presentations, concerts, summer garden parties, charity balls and glittering gala dinners.

The two walled gardens rank amongst Malta’s best, a fine example of classic baroque formality mixed with the vivid colours and scents of the Mediterranean – making a magnificent venue for large scale dinners, receptions or open air concerts.  Up to 400 guests can be seated for a gala dinner, silver service or buffet style; and up to 1000 for a reception in summer.
