Who it is for

Most of this work sits inside a larger programme: senior attendees whose itinerary needs to differ from the main group's. The rest is standalone.

  1. Alongside a conference or incentiveThe executive layer Leadership arriving early or staying late, with private dining, separate transport and their own itinerary run separately from the main programme.
  2. 8 to 20 guestsBoard and offsite Board meetings, advisory sessions and leadership offsites in a private boardroom or palazzo, with private dinners in the evening.

  4. 2 to 20 guestsPrivate and family Milestone celebrations, family weeks and private itineraries, including guests travelling with security or medical requirements.

Private viewings and exclusive access

Small numbers open up venues and hosts that cannot take a crowd. Each of these needs negotiated access and, in most cases, a permit.

Private aviation, VIP arrivals and chauffeurs

Malta International Airport operates a dedicated VIP terminal separate from the main building, with its own immigration and customs processing. It is a 20-minute drive from the main hotel districts and 15 from Valletta.

20 min from the airport to the main hotel districts

Private aviation
Handling, slots, ground power and crew arrangements co-ordinated with your operator or charter broker. Vehicles brought to the aircraft where permitted.
Scheduled arrivals
VIP terminal processing is available to guests travelling on commercial flights, so a first-class passenger does not join the main arrivals hall. Luggage is handled separately and delivered to the room.
Ground transport
Dedicated vehicles and drivers for the length of the stay, including electric sedans. Where a concierge itinerary runs alongside a larger programme, transport is entirely separate so no schedule is shared.
Entry
Malta is in the Schengen Area, with visa-free short stays for US, UK, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand passport holders.

Where senior guests stay

Valletta palazzos
Converted townhouse and palazzo hotels inside the walls of the capital. Suited to guests who want to walk to dinner.
Mdina
A small number of rooms inside the walled city, which empties of visitors after dark. It is the quietest option on the island.
Resort suites
Suites and presidential suites in the five-star seafront properties, appropriate when the concierge itinerary sits alongside a larger programme in the same hotel.
Private villas
Exclusive-use houses and estates with private pools and staff, on Malta and on Gozo. Suited to families, security-conscious guests and stays over a week.
Gozo
Farmhouse and boutique properties on the second island, 25 minutes by ferry or a short helicopter or fast-launch transfer, for a deliberately quieter second half of a stay.

Executive travel in Malta: common questions

How is this different from a hotel concierge or a travel agent?

A hotel concierge makes reservations. Colours of Malta holds the supplier relationships, permits and heritage access that make private venue use possible, contracts on your behalf, carries the public liability and runs the programme on the ground.

Is there a minimum group size or spend?

There is no minimum group size. If you only need a restaurant booking, your hotel can do that. If you need private venue access, permits, dedicated transport or a multi-day itinerary, Colours of Malta can arrange it.

Can this run alongside a larger conference or incentive?

That is the most common way it is used. Senior attendees get their own arrival, transport, dining and itinerary running in parallel with the main programme, operated separately and out of sight of the wider group.

Do you handle private jets and yachts?

Yes. Malta International Airport has a dedicated VIP terminal with separate immigration and customs processing, and Colours of Malta co-ordinates handling, slots and ground arrangements with your operator or broker. On the water we arrange berthing and clearance in Valletta and the marinas, private schooner and motor-yacht charter, and tender transfers between the islands.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Colours of Malta does not publish concierge programmes anywhere, including on this site, and never shares guests’ names, photographs or details. All guest data is handled under GDPR.

Can you work with our security team?

Yes. We work to your team's requirements on venue selection, routing, advance reconnaissance and vehicle arrangements.

How much notice do you need?

Most itineraries need days rather than months, and Colours of Malta regularly builds programmes at short notice. The exceptions are things that need a permit, such as private cathedral access, bastion venues or museum openings. Their lead times are set by the authorities and heritage bodies, so ask early and we will tell you what is possible for your dates.

Send us your guest numbers, dates and requirements.

A senior planner will reply the same day.
