The Hilton Malta Conference Centre
Hilton Malta Conference Centre is in Portomaso, St Julian’s, on the north-east coast of the island.
Portomaso is easy to reach by car, taxi or coach. Malta International Airport is 10 km to the south, about 20 minutes away.
The Grandmaster’s Suite seats up to 1,330 in theatre style, and its tiered balcony has 230 seats. It is used for conferences, annual general meetings, dinners, receptions, fashion shows, product launches and concerts. The stage is built for theatre productions, and a lift brings heavy equipment, or even a car, up to stage level. A built-in screen takes front and back projection, and the stage can be taken down or set up as the event needs. Lighting and audio equipment are available with the room hire.
The centre also has a multi-purpose hall and eight syndicate rooms, five of them with daylight, over four levels linked by escalators and a lift. It has large pre-function areas and space for exhibitions and catering. A full banquet kitchen caters for events of any size. Hilton staff support meetings and events, and a business centre provides office services. The hotel lobby opens directly onto the centre’s main foyer.

- The meeting rooms are set above the Portomaso Marina. Hilton Meetings, the hotel’s meeting support and business centre, provides assistance on site. The Business Centre has eight multi-purpose syndicate rooms for meetings of up to 86 delegates. The rooms have their own climate control, ergonomic chairs, a direct telephone line to the business centre, internet access, a flip chart, a whiteboard, a screen and a minibar.

- The Portomaso Suite can be divided into three separate rooms, each with its own access. Its foyer has daylight and is used for coffee breaks, receptions and exhibitions.
