Historic venues for exclusive use

Palaces, star forts, bastion gardens, gun batteries and cathedrals are all contractable for exclusive evening use. None are standard event hire, so each needs negotiated access, a permit file and an approved build plan. Event production

Kit does not have to be freighted in. Malta has established production suppliers holding LED, staging, rigging and audio inventory on the island, and a long-running film industry that has kept crew standards high.

Corporate events in Malta: common questions

Can historic venues really be taken for private use?

Yes. Palaces, star forts, bastion gardens, gun batteries and cathedrals can all be hired for exclusive evening use. None are standard event hire, so each needs negotiated access, a permit file and an approved build plan, and heritage conditions govern what can be rigged, where power runs and how late music can play. Colours of Malta holds these relationships directly and secures availability before a programme is contracted.

What happens if the weather turns?

Every outdoor event Colours of Malta contracts carries an indoor alternative with its own floor plan and agreed pricing, held until the day of the event. You approve both at contracting stage, so there is nothing to negotiate on the day.

How far in advance should we book?

Nine to eighteen months secures first-choice hotel inventory and historic venues, particularly for the April–June and September–November windows. Colours of Malta has also contracted and delivered full programmes in ten weeks. Ask early and we will tell you what is still available for your dates.
