The Sheer Bastion
The Sheer Bastion is a restaurant and events venue on Senglea’s bastion walls, which were built to protect the Grand Harbour. These 16th-century fortifications are on Malta’s tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The restaurant keeps their original architectural features, with modern lighting. The building is at the water’s edge and looks across the Grand Harbour to the cities around it.
Canapés and set menus are made in-house from local, seasonal produce. The kitchen is led by Chef de Cuisine Andrea Marchetti and directed by chef and restaurateur Chris Hammett.
