Fort Manoel
Fort Manoel is a Baroque fortress in Marsamxett Harbour. The Knights of Malta built it in the eighteenth century, and the British military used it after them. Its large parade square is now an open-air terrace that looks across the harbour to Valletta. Fort Manoel has been on Malta’s tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The parade square takes large marquees and events with extensive set-ups.
