Grand Hotel Excelsior is a five-star hotel on Great Siege Road in Floriana, built within the 16th-century fortifications on the Marsamxett Harbour side of Valletta. It opened in 2007 and has 433 rooms and suites over ten floors, most of them facing Marsamxett Harbour. The hotel has a private yacht marina, a private sandy beach, outdoor and indoor pools and a spa run by Carisma Spa & Wellness.
