The Xara Palace is a five-star hotel in a palazzo inside the walls of Mdina, on Misraħ il-Kunsill. The palazzo was built in the 17th century for the Moscati Parisio family, and its walls form part of Mdina’s bastions. It opened as a hotel in 1999 with 17 rooms and suites, and its de Mondion restaurant, on the bastions with terraces over the island, holds one MICHELIN star in the 2026 Guide.
